Achyls’ parents were young when they fell in love, but their parents wouldn’t allow them to see each other. One night they decided to elope, meeting each other at the docks and paying the boatmen to take them away. Once in a new and unfamiliar land things didn’t go so well for them. They didn’t have a home, food, or money. Things only got worse as time went on. Then one day a gentleman came upon the loving couple and offered them a trade. He offered them everything. A home, a wonderful job for him, and all the money they would need until he became successful. He told them that his payment would come after they became wealthy he would return and claim a befitting prize. Desperate and with no other choice they accepted. Years went by and Achlys’ father became richer and richer but there was still no sign of the strange gentlemen. Seven years after the gentlemen had helped them Achlys’ parents found out they were going to have a baby. Achlys came into the world on the coldest of winter nights. She was healthy and a normal baby girl, except for one thing. She had eyes of the deepest crimson blood. The day after Achlys birth there was a knock on their door. When the door was opened the gentlemen stood there with the nicest of smiles. He was welcomed in and shown about the house. They were all sitting in the foyer room when the baby was brought in to be shown to the gentlemen. He asked if he could hold the child. Achlys was handed over to the man at which point his human appearance disappeared to show a large demon. He hissed that Achlys was rightfully his that they had agreed to his terms and because of how desperate they were they didn’t ask for details. The proof she belonged to him were her eyes, eyes witch no other human possessed. He said she would be taken care of and that she was immortal so no harm would befall her. With that he disappeared leaving the family distraught and without their beloved child. Achlys was brought up in the world of demons, knowing only that she was a cursed human living forever in a world that wasn’t hers. This idea had never bothered her, but she wished she could walk in the world she belonged. Then finally at the age of 20 her demon father granted her that wish. Placing her in the world of humans, he of course went with her, hidden in a talisman that she keeps tied around her belt. If she ever were to need his help all she had to do was call out his name and he would aid her. Although she was good on her own for she was well skilled in swordsmanship. |

This was played out with another Rper. Achlys' moves are in red. :A shreik of terror was the villagers first sign that something was wrong. One of the village women screamed in terror as a gaint of a man stomped down the street. His body was covered in thick red scales as hard as dragon hide. Over his chest and one hand he wore a suit of shimmering armor. His eyes burned with daemonic fire and in his hand he held a massive blood stained axe. A wicked grin crossed his face as he made his way down the streets seeing people cringe in fear or dart into a building to avoid him: :Achlys was pratically pushed out of the herb shop after the scream was sounded. She looked back at the shop her crimson eyes filled with anger at the rudeness. Then slowly her gaze moved around and saw the huge... man looking... thing walking down the street. "Odd..." was all she said as she stared at him in disbeliefe. Then she noticed one of the towns children in the street he was walking. She was def so she hadn't heard the scream. Achlys looked around for her mother before taking it upon her self to run out to the street and pull the little girl in her arms and take her to the safty of the side of the building before letting her gaze refall upon the large... thing moving down the street. "what the hell is that.... thing?" :He growled and, just for fun, slammed his axe through a nearby flower cart: Its a monster: someone cried running past the herb shop. He noticed the little girl being plucked out of the street by someone else. He turned to the owner of the flower cart who ws now cringing in fear beneath its shattered remains. He growled and grasped the man by the collar and lifted him free form the reck. He moved down the street once more dragging the now screaming man behind him: :Her eyes followed the one that ran past her yelling 'monster'. that caused a short laugh to come from her. She looked back up the street at the creature and nodded after tilting her head to one side. "Monster... i see." She noticed no one was very willing to help the man captured by that... thing.. and rolled her eyes looking down at the little girl clutching to her leg. "You know i'm not even from this town and i get the feeling that i'm the only one who seems to care that that man is being dragged." She paused a moment, "what am i talking to you for... you can't hear me." She pried the little girl from her leg and walked back out into the street hoping to get a good chance to snatch the man from the grasp of this thing comeing her way. The little girl cryied out when she was left alone on the side of the street. "its alright, my mother always said my fulishness and fearlessness would get me killed someday... i accepte my fate it if were to be today." The little girl covered her eyes. :He stopped short staring down the much shorter women standing before him. Behind him the capture man struggled to get free. The daemon growled and lifted the man off the ground and through him across the street and into the wall of a building. He stepped closer to the women towering over her: Out of my way women! : HE growled his tone cold and unfeeling: "Oh now that's a rude way of getting what you want." Her eyes traveled over to the man that was tossed aginst the building. "Now you see... that wasn't nice." she pointed to the man. "Didin't your mother ever tell you to pick on someone your own size." She looked around the streets then moved sideways a bit to look behind him before her eyes looked up at him. "And since i don't see anyone around here the same size as you i would think that meant to leave us alone. Wouldn't you?" Now she pulled a mother trick and placed her hands on her hips as she looked up too him. :He growled at her viciously: Think your funny dont you little human : His tone was cold yet she could tell his anger was rising at her: "Funny?!" Again she looked around. "I never said i was being funny. I'm being totally serious. You need to be alot nicer." She put all her weight on one leg causing her hips to patrude slightly on one side. "tell me... what did that man ever do to you?" I dont need to answer your questions women :He growled: I follow the leading of my god.. he wants me to kill so thats why I am here : A wicked grin crossed his face and he bent down over her more: perhaps you would like to be my first victim Her crimson gaze locked with his for a moment before she let a smile slowly cross her face as she looked up at him. "You know... i've never thought about what it would be like to be the 'frist victim' of much of anything really." She looked down for a moment as if thinking then looked back up at him. "would it be fun?" :his mind suddenly went blank... was this girl just stupid or was she making fun of him he struggled with this one, thinking is not one of his strong points.: Who are you? : he finally asked in a frustrated cold voice: She grinned wide with that question. "Ah... so you do have a polite bone in your body." She stood up straight and tall. "Achlys will be the name of the one before you." She looked back over at the man that was thrown into the wall then back at the creature before her. Determinaiton written in her eyes. "i think you should say sorry for throwing him into the wall." She thought a moment "then again he isnt moving so i don't see how it would do much good." :He growled his flaming eyes burning brighter with anger: Sorry! you think i should say Sorry! the weak dont deserve to live... only the strong survive :he snapped at her anger coursing through his large body: Agravation laced her crimson eyes now as she looked up at him. she came to the realization he acts like an overgrown child. She waited for him to stop roaring at her before she spoke, her tone holding a commanding hint to it. "Are you doing throwing a tantrum... i sware you are worse then a two year old wanting a lolie pop. And for your information He isn't weak. granted he is weaker then you but not many people would be stronger i would think. He has lived his life avoiding deiase and faman... more then likely rasing a family while he was at it. Working every day to sell flowers to put bread on the table and you come stomping in here like a giant two year old and smash his only way of making money before slamming him into that wall and more the likely killing him. And then you have the nerve to stand there and yell at me about being weak?" She gave a short human growl. "The only weak one i see here is you... you picking on things weaker and smaller then you. You should be ashamed." Oh boy, yep that one would prolly sign her death warrent. :He was completely stunned by her words no human had ever talked to him like that. He thought about ripping off her head and adding it to his already large collection of severed human heads, but decided against it. This human was brave and was willing to stand up against him even though it would most certainly me her death. He growled slightly uncertain of what to do: You certainly a foolish human arent you girl : he snarled at her: She smiled looking up at him for a moment nodding her head. "My mother once told me i was foolish. At that time i didn't think she was right." She looked him over for a moment. "Your not all that scary... a little imtemadateing yes... but not scary." She scratched her head a bit causing her long raven hair move in waves. She looked towards the herb shop. Then back up at him. "I'm not moving from this spot until you tell me sorry for causeing me to not be able to get the herbs i need." Yep... now that was bold :He snarled and reached down and lifted her kicking and screaming from the ground putting her down, unharmed, behind him. With a wicked grin he moved further into the village scaring off a couple more villagers: Anger raced up and settled itself behind her eyes and without hesitation she headed after the creature. "You know, i'm not going to let you walk away from me without saying a word to me. I don't take kindly to bad manners." She was sort of shaking her fist at him. :she heard what she thought was a kind of cruel chuckle and he turned to look at her a wicked grin on his face: well then either go away or get used to it girly... these are the only manners i have : he turned away from her: That was it... Bad manners will be delt with with bad manners. She looked around, found a rock and picked it up. she tossed it in the air... caught it and chucked it full strength at his head... using a bit of her Telekenises to add more force behind the throw of the rock. "You need to learn good manners." :he whipped about snarling at her he brought his fist down in a powerful blow, stopping inches away from her face. He couldnt bring himself to attack her why he did not know. He was Galroth Bloodhand slaughter of hundreds loyal servant of the Blood God, but he could not bring himself to kill her. Frustration rose up inside him and he snarled at her: My manners are no concern of yours... i will act how i please a Lord such as myself doesnt need to take orders from a human like you She actully ducked, when she thought she was going to be hit. Then when he stopped himself she smiled slightly and stood back up. Her eyes grew wide for a moment when she heard him call himself a lord then shook her head slightly. "Ah... it all makes sense now. You're a Lord. That is why your manners suck worse than a paid whore." She smiled up at him her hands once again moving to her hips. "You know if you need someone to help you in lessons for your manners i'd be willing to help." Her tone told him that she wasn't going to give up easily. She had a thing about manners and lived up to sacuring them where she could. I dont need help from a human: he snarled: now leave me alone i have work to do : he looked about the village for his first victim wondering which onehe should kill first for the glory of his god: That statment sent her into Mocking the way of Lords and Ladies. "Humph... since when do Lords do work other then sit around on their arse and eat peanuts all day. The last Lord i worked for did nothing. He didn't even go to meeting when the king summoned him. He was the laziest man i ever saw. His manners Sucked almost as bad as your's do now.... Your not a lazy Lord are you?" Then she realized something. "Of course you arn't you just told me you had work to do. What kind of work do you do, Lord I'm-going-to-scare-everyone-with-my-bad-manners.?" :He snarled at her mocking his work: My' work' as you call it is slautghering mortals for the glory of my God Melkorn the Blood god... I owe my life to him and if i do not follow his orders then my life is forfit to him and my soul will burn in hell forever : he said in his icy cold tone: She blinked. "Hmmm... sounds like you have a big problem dosen't. Well sounds to me like your 'blood god' didn't give you orders on who to kill, just as long as you kill. Now the way i see it there are many people that don't deserve to die. On the other hand there are people, Theifs, rapests, unfaithful people... the likes that wouldn't be missed." She thought for a good long moment. "Would you be able to tell these people apart in a crowd?... oh wait... you wouldn't. you're too busy trying to fill your blood rage for this so called 'blood god' so you don't burn in hell forever. you could care less who you kill. Did it ever accure to you that in killing innocent people you would be doing what is called an oxiemoreon?" She looked up at him, her face lined with seriousness. She always drove people nuts, she was surprized he hadnt thrown her into a building like he did that man yet. :she was starting to grate in his nerves: Listen to me.. by disobeying my god i risk losing my soul to eternal torture and torment. by following his orders i gain power... the more power i gain the better chance i have of earning immortallity as a full daemon "Ok look at my reasoning though. Say you work hard to gain this immortallity right. But you do this by killing innocent people. After awhile your going to piss off some 'life god' or something and he's going to make you gaining your immortallity impossible. or if he lets you gain this immortallity you seek he could make it a living hell. By killing those that deserve to die, you would not only be pleaseing your god, and gaining power... but helping the 'life god' in making the world a better place to live for us humans. Which in the end makes everyone happy. Not to mention that you could become like a town hero or something. You know protector of mankind sort of thing. You would be famous forever... not to mention worshiped by humans." Well the reasoning sounded right in her mind anyway. :his mind was rather slow and after several long minutes he finally began to realize what she was saying... if he helped people instead of killing them he could please his god and recruit worshippers, somethng he would want when he became a full daemon: You make an interesting point human... how would i go about doing this? "Well frist off all we want to dress you in all black leather then get you a nice black cape, maybe a nice mask, some really cool weapons..." She stopped mid-sentence as she looked at him and slowly shook her head. That stuff wasn't his type. She thought for a moment. "Well are you capable of reading people's minds?" :he shook his head: No i cannot, but i can see magical energy and i can run faster then three horses with strength like 4 gaints and skin as thick as dragon hide She looked up at him as he recited all of his capabilites to her. Then nodded when he was done. She thought hard and out of habbit, which she always does when thinking hard, she starting to walk in circles around him. She didn't really know she was doing it. "Magical energy really isn't usefull... running isn't going to pick people out in a crowd, the strength i bet is nice to have but isn't going to help us out much is it...?" She was talking to herself not him, her mind lost deep in thought as she sorted out ways he could go about doing good and what he would need and how things would fall into place. :he scratched his head wondering what she could be thinking of doing to him or for him. the whole thought of being nice and doing good seemed strange to him kind of awkward. he put away hie axe and waited , not one of his strong points, for her to come up with something: She stopped dead in her tracks as she looked up at him with a crooked smile on her face. "You need a friend. Well not a friend, more like a companion... or slave... if you will." She called it a slave, for she knew he wouldn't like the idea of a 'friend'. "Some one that has the mental power to pick out the evil, wrong doers for you to kill." She grinned as if the idea was something brilliant, it really wasn't and she was ashamed at herself for taking so long to think that up. :he thought about it for a moment: That would make things easier... but where would i find sucha person? She thought for a moment. "i'm sure i could find you one. People have powers like that all the time. Most just don't know they do. and Most are untapped powers." She looked about the streets and laughed a bit. "i would try and find one for you now... but unfortunetly you being Mr. Bogey man scared them all away so i can't tell." She looked up at him with an eyebrow raised. "what are you anyway? Half-Niematoad?" :he gave her a confused look, unsure what the heck a Niematoad was exactly: I am a Half-Daemon, in me flows the blood of a powerful daemon that i joined with. It is what grants me my powers and someday it will take over my human side and i will become a full daemon with unstoppable, god like powers : as he said this he seemed to gaze off into the distants perhaps thinking of that time he wanted to come so badly: She actully snorted at that thought. "Now who in the all of Hedes' hell would want 'god' like powers." she moved as if to whisper to him. "you know i hear having that much power sucks. People run from you like you're a rat carrying the plauge. You'd never have any friends. No one to talk to, no one to beat up after they kicked your arse in chess." She grinned. "you know what you need... a pet. some one to keep you company." Her mind had a habbit of skipping from one idea to another without much warning.... which was slowly becoming evident :it was clear to him by now that she was rather crazy: I had a pet... but he died in battle i used his metal hide to forge the armor i am wearing She looked at him shocked. "Metal hide?!?!? What kind of freaking pet was this? a walking piece of tin?" She shook her head and began to pace before him. "you are one strange creature. i've never met anything or anyone like you before. : then we are even for i have never ment a human like you before either : he almost smiled at this: |
